Homemade Crock Pot Applesauce

Monday, October 23rd, 2017
Hurray its Fall!!! Here in the Rettig house it is one of our very favorite times of the year. Its the time of the year that crisp air calls for oversized sweaters, bonfires, pumpkin patches, and Apple Orchards. I going to go out on the limb and say although we love all things pumpkin spice we are equally huge fans of the Apple Spice life! With apple prices under a dollar at most of the stores here in Kentucky. I predict we will be making lots of yummy Apple treats in the near future.
Here is a simple yummy crock pot homemade applesauce recipe. approx. 10mins to prep

This recipe is very easy for kids to get involved to help make

Ingredients

  • 9 medium apples, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
  • 3 tablespoons of Brown Sugar (We used Coconut Sugar)
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
