For those of you who know me or have just started following my blog you have probably already figured out that I LOVE all things travel, maps, & flags. As a family we are constantly looking for new ways to studying other countries & cultures.
I also love celebrating the forgotten or overlooked holidays such as National Doughnut Day, Talk Like A Pirate Day, Flag Day, and the list goes on! With flag day right around the corner I have been brainstorming on what we could study this week revolving around Flags.
After much thought I decided it would be fun to make a USA State Flag garland with the kids this week while studying the US states and capitals. I also thought you would all enjoy it as this months FREE subscriber printable!!!!
Found this Video on Instructables.com and thought it would make for fun Patriotic 3 Sec Slushes! The kids LOVED them and it made for such a quick & easy treat!!! Just use a red and blue pop ( 😉 I grew up on the East Coast) and follow the instructions in the video so fun!

Who is ready for some summer party fun?!?
This adorable Sunflower Party was from last summer. However, I wanted to share these pictures from my niece’s amazing 7th birthday party to inspire some summer party fun! My niece wanted a cowgirl party and as always my sister delivered. Cow print table cloths and straws accented by pops of color from the beautiful yellow sunflowers. The adorable sunflower cupcakes completed the look. This birthday party was beyond adorable!
